Corral those kiddos and join us on Saturday mornings from May 15th to June 5th for a free virtual concert series featuring live performances by the 2021 JUNO nominees for Children’s Album of the Year in partnership with the Toronto Public Library.

ABC Singsong in an animated music video featuring a cast of colourful characters who will sing entertaining tunes from their JUNO nominated album, Letters and Numbers. ABC Singsong, of the beloved TV series, Big Block Singsong, have won the Youth Media Award of Excellence, a Parent’s Choice Award, and have been nominated for two JUNO Awards in 2020 and 2021 for Children’s Album of the Year.

Njacko Backo has been performing for children for more than 30 years in schools, libraries, summer camps and festivals. With 12 albums to his name, Njacko’s music invites children to deepen their understanding of Central African culture through fun, upbeat songs with simple singable melodies on kalimba (African piano), ngoni (African harp), fiddle and percussion. His JUNO nominated album, J’aime mon école, is primarily in French, with one song in English.
